Experimentation rooms and available technologies

At the VidAAs center, we provide access to experimentation rooms and available technologies to facilitate their practical application within ecosystem entities and to foster the development of new experiences, shared learning, and applied innovation processes.

The experimentation rooms are open spaces within the VidAA ecosystem where technologies focused on autonomy, quality of life, and inclusion can be explored, tested, and validated. They also enable the exploration of new professional uses, the generation of applied knowledge, and the promotion of collaboration among different stakeholders.

We have the following technology

The Michelangelo smart walker by Darwin Biomed, equipped with active fall prevention systems, intelligent gait assistance, and activity monitoring.

Virtual reality headsets, portable pedallers, and two tablets, as well as two stationary bikes connected to the headsets and the option to request an interactive digital display.

The Foca interactive therapeutic robot, its corresponding charger, and a user guide with the necessary instructions.

An induction cooktop designed for a more accessible and safer kitchen, an Alexa speaker, and a mobile app with VoiceOver, along with a user guide containing the necessary instructions.

Access and use process for the rooms

The use of the experimentation rooms and the technology available at VidAA requires two steps:

1. Prior training session (mandatory for professionals)

Participate in a training session aimed exclusively at professionals. Registration is mandatory.

⏰ Time: from 13:00 to 14:00

The objective of this session is to:

Learn about the technologies available at VidAA
Understand how they work
Learn the usage protocols
Receive recommendations for integrating them into activities with users

2. Room booking

The rooms are available for booking:

🗓️ Day: Tuesday to Friday
⏰ Time: from 08:00 to 15:00
⌛ Duration: 1-hour time slots
