Project definition
The project focuses on digital inclusion, promoted by the Navarra Cybersecurity Center in collaboration with Centro VidaAs, with the objective of bringing knowledge about digital security closer to groups in situations of greater vulnerability, always using an accessible, understandable approach adapted to their needs.
The initiative is framed within a comprehensive and inclusive digital literacy strategy, facilitating that participants can develop greater autonomy and confidence in digital environments.
The workshops are part of a pioneering national programme in cybersecurity awareness, driven by the Government of Navarra, with the support of the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE) and funding from the European Union through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
VidaAs participates as a collaborating centre and reference space for the development of accessible training actions.
Target groups
At VidaAs, the project is aimed at the following groups, adapting contents, methodologies, and learning pace to each one:
- Older people
- People with physical disabilities
- People with intellectual disabilities
- People with sensory disabilities
- People in ageing processes
- People at risk or in situations of social vulnerability
- Women at risk
Project objectives
- Promote digital security and responsible use of technology among groups in situations of greater vulnerability, reducing digital divides.
- Provide participants with basic knowledge tools to protect their digital footprint, prevent online risks, and operate safely in virtual environments.
- Prevent situations of digital abuse and foster respectful behaviours based on mutual respect, empathy, and positive online coexistence.
- Guarantee equitable access to cybersecurity training, using accessible methodologies adapted to the needs of each group.
- Strengthen personal autonomy and confidence in the use of digital technologies as tools for social inclusion.
Actions developed
- Design and delivery of tailored cybersecurity workshops, with clear, practical content oriented towards everyday life.
- Each centre consists of face‑to‑face sessions, structured to facilitate progressive learning and encourage active participation.
- Development of training contents focused on:
- Digital security
- Protection of the digital footprint
- Prevention of digital abuse
- Responsible use of screens
- Promotion of values of respect and empathy in virtual environments
- Ensuring accessibility across all training actions, through:
- Adaptation of materials
- Adjustments to timeframes and methodologies
- Inclusion of sign language and subtitles in the case of people with hearing disabilities
- Delivery of the workshops at Centro VidaAs, as an accessible space and reference centre for social innovation and inclusive training.
