Proyecto Retos IA - Centrovidaas
Can you help us to identify needs, problems and challenges to be solved?
AI Challenges is a project promoted by the Department of Presidency and Equality of the Government of Navarra, through the VidAAs Centre, NAIR Center (Navarre Artificial Intelligence Research Centre) and ATANA (Technology and Consulting Cluster of Navarra). It aims to design innovative and practical solutions based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to respond to the real challenges and needs of people.
Project goals
- Encourage the active participation of people and staff related to care facilities in the identification of their needs/challenges.
- Design inclusive and practical AI-based solutions.
-
Engage society and business to bring creativity and innovative approaches.
-
Establish effective links between AI experts, specialised centres, technology companies and individuals.
-
Generate measurable impact on the quality of life and accessibility of these communities.
Values
- Person-centred design that allows us to generate solutions aligned with people's real needs.
- Inclusive methodologies: active participation of people, organisations and society in general.
- Measurable impact: tools to ensure sustainability and success of the programme.
- Connection with innovation: integration of AI experts and leading companies in the technology sector.
Participant profiles
Defining the profiles of the people who have participated in the different phases of the IA Challenges project has been carried out by the coordination team, with the aim of guaranteeing maximum efficiency in each of the phases.
The focus is always on the active participation of the people who will subsequently benefit in the definition of the project's solutions.
Discovery Sprint: the participation of 35 people with the following profiles was defined:
Hackathon: 45 people with a more open participation, in the definition of which new profiles were included to complete the working groups formed:
Matchathon: in this phase, based on the previous work, different companies with a technological profile and experience in Artificial Intelligence make proposals through the creation of a project canvas.

Project phases
1. Discovery Sprint
Identify needs, problems and challenges to be solved that affect the accessibility of people in the areas of communication and the use of spaces.
In this phase we will hold two sessions:
Identify needs, problems and challenges to be solved that affect the accessibility of people in the areas of communication and the use of spaces.
In this phase we will hold two sessions:
- Session 1: Identification of challenges in the fields of communication and the use of spaces to promote accessibility for people that can be solved through Artificial Intelligence.
- Session 2: Review and assessment of the challenges proposed in the session.
2. Hackathon
